William and the Dark Rain

This is a relaxation game. The main character is William, who lives in an alternative world where it's always raining. The dark rain is harmful to everything, it makes everything disappear after a while.  In this world, William wanders around and occasionally finds trees to use as shelter for a while.  The only source of light is lightning. When lightning strikes, a new tree comes into the world. There is some chance that the tree will have fruit, a lightning fruit that will help to restore William's light.

Control

You can move left or right with A or D or the arrow keys. And for pick up fruits push space, and if you have fruit you can eat it anytime with hiting the space again.

To hide the quote use escape button.

About the game

I really enjoyed the process of making the game. My first idea was pixel art, then I drew a character who turned out to be William. I had problems with the animator built into Unity, so I wrote an animation mechanism for William. Unfortunately, I had only a few hours to get the music, so I can still see or hear imperfections there, but the essence is still audible.
